Emma represents clients in complex litigation in district and appellate courts. Areas of recent involvement include insurance defense, employment, healthcare industry and contract disputes. Emma has provided the legal input sought by those who are forming and growing local and regional businesses.
Emma has substantial experience advising companies that seek to do business with Native American tribes.
Highlights
Emma's time at Oklahoma City University School of Law included achieving 11 CALI Awards of Excellence, service on OCU’s National Appellate Advocacy Competition team, and being named the Oklahoma Bar Association’s Outstanding Senior Law Student.
Prior to law school, Emma earned a degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Oklahoma State University, where she was recognized as a Udall Foundation Scholar in the area of tribal health care.
As a Cherokee citizen, Emma enjoys advocating for the advancement and preservation of tribal sovereignty, which has included presenting written argument to the United States Supreme Court and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.
