Practice Overview

Emma C. Kincade is an associate attorney with Rhodes Hieronymus. Emma represents clients in various complex litigation matters, including handling cases through final appeal. Her practice primarily consists of insurance defense, employment resolution, healthcare industry litigation, and contract disputes. Emma also assists her clients with forming, expanding, and operating businesses using common sense and risk-averse strategies.

Highlights

Emma received her law degree from Oklahoma City University School of Law where she earned 11 CALI Awards of Excellence, served on OCU’s National Appellate Advocacy Competition team, and was named the Oklahoma Bar Association’s Outstanding Senior Law Student. Prior to law school, Emma earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Oklahoma State University where she was recognized as a Udall Foundation Scholar in the area of tribal health care. As a Cherokee citizen, Emma enjoys advocating for the advancement and preservation of tribal sovereignty, which has included presenting written argument to the United States Supreme Court and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. She aims to use her experiences to provide a fresh perspective on client problem-solving.

Outside of the office, Emma enjoys being a foster mom to Oklahoma’s youth and spending time at the lake with family and friends. She is looking forward to transitioning to Rhodes Hieronymus’ Tulsa office in the near future, as a born-and-raised Tulsa local.
