Jo Anne Deaton
Jo Anne Deaton is of counsel at Rhodes Hieronymus whose practice focuses on employment law, products liability, and general insurance defense.
After 35 years of practicing as an Attorney with Rhodes, Hieronymus, Ms. Deaton moved to Of Counsel status with the firm as of January 1, 2018. Her practice has always focused on employment law, products liability, and general insurance defense. Ms. Deaton has a broad range of experience advising and representing employers from all types of businesses and industries on matters of discrimination and harassment (Title VII, ADA, ADEA, GINA, OADA), workers’ compensation retaliatory discharge, wage issues, personnel concerns and decisions, and other related areas. Her practice in the employment law area has encompassed claims before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, as well as litigation in both state and federal court.
In addition to her practice at the firm, Ms. Deaton has served as an Adjunct Settlement Judge for Tulsa County District Court and for the United States District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma.
